We are indebted to our hospital heroes for keeping us all safe but we also owe it to journalists working around the clock to keep us informed as the world around us constantly changes. Our guest Jeff Jarvis explains why advertisers especially owe it to these journalists to show their support. Jarvis, the Director, Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism at CUNY's Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, is a staunch advocate for journalists and the dedicated work they do during times of crisis.

He joined us to discuss why “brand safety is getting in the way of humanity.” Jarvis explains the vital role advertisers have in supporting journalism when we need quality reporting more than ever - and why advertisers shouldn’t block ads from running on crisis-related programs. He also offers a positive suggestion for advertisers on how to learn and adapt, saying that this is their chance to finally build meaningful relationships with consumers.
